Pets at Home has announced the appointment of David Robinson as its new retail chief operating officer. Robinson is expected to join in the first quarter of 2019 and moves from Bestway which acquired Bargain Booze and Conviviality out of administration. Prior to this, he was with Home Retail Group where he had held the position of Argos chief operating officer prior to its acquisition by Sainsbury’s.
Pets at Home CEO Peter Pritchard commented: “Following Robert Kent’s appointment as chief data officer only a few weeks ago, we are making another strategically important and senior level appointment, which will be critical to achieving our goal of becoming the world’s best pet care business”
