PhotoBox group has acquired posterXXL, a leading German online photo print business. This follows its acquisition in December of the Spanish online photo brand Hofman and consolidates its goal to lead the European personalisation sector. posterXXL was founded in 2004 and posted sales of Eur39m to February 28, 2015.
Commenting on the transaction, Photobox Group president & chief executive Stan Laurent said ” The acquisition of posterXXL is ground-breaking for Photobox, delivering yet more scale to the Group and a prime position in Germany, by far the largest photo market in Europe.
