Luxury British leather goods manufacturer Pittards has acquired the brand and assets of handbag and accessory business Hill & Friends rom its administrators. Hill & Friends was founded in 2015 by Emma Hill and Georgia Fendley to design and produce high end ethically made fashionable products of unique design and has a loyal customer base. It entered administration earlier this year and caught the eye of Pittards which had seen looking to extend its reach.
Pittards CEO said: “Maintaining our strong balance sheet, this acquisition has been financed entirely from the company’s existing liquidity. This complementary acquisition represents a compelling opportunity to further scale our offering, building on our success with our luxury gentleman’s brand Daines and Hathaway.
“We’re excited to be working with Emma* to increase the breadth of our fashion industry offering whilst, at the same time, driving further synergy benefits and unlocking shareholder value through increased scale.”
Emma Hill has been retained as a consultant by Pittards.
