The owner of Primark says it intends to cut some 400 management-level jobs in the UK in a bid to simplify its store management structure as well as reduce costs. The news comes despite the retailer posting UK sales of £2.67bn for the 16 weeks to 8th January ’22.
In other news, Primark expects to unveil its new informational customer website this Spring to promote its store ranges. It remains adamant that this is not a precursor to a transactional site but is more to keep customers in the loop on new ranges as they become available in its stores.
