Brecon-based BVG Airflo Group, has announced that profits for the
year ending August 2006 is up from £3.6 million the previous
year to £4.4 million. Group managing director, Iain Burgess,
commented, “The last 12 months have been a challenging time
for us, we relocated our distribution centre from Knowsley to a
state of the art 130,000 sq ft facility in Skelmersdale, migrated
from three computer systems to a new central system and delivered
a 19 per cent increase in EBITDA. These excellent results are a
testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. Having
completed the logistical projects required to support our next
five years future growth we can focus on driving sales. Sales in
the first five months of the current financial year are up 20 per
cent and we are confident of achieving an increase in EBITDA to
£5.5m for the current financial year.”
