Quiz reports robust half year sales


Quiz which floated in July has posted a 35 per cent increase in its group revenues for the six months to 30th September. Group online sales were particularly impressive, showing  204 per cent growth to £13.8 million of the total £56.1 million achieved for the period.  The fast fashion brand had launched a website for the Spanish market where it also launched three stores in Madrid, and had also seen significant demand coming via both Zalando and Next. In the Middle East new franchise units were opened in the UAE and Morocco.

Our IPO in July 2017 was a hugely important milestone for the company as we continue to build the Quiz brand as a global fast-fashion destination for customers who want the latest looks at outstanding value. Our customer base is growing strongly  and we are confident of delivering further growth,” commented Tarak Ramzan, Quiz chief executive. 

The business had invested in a new 180,000 sq.ft. distribution centre, broadened its range as well as increased its marketing spend, all of which contributed to its successful trading.
