QVC has announced the appointment of Gregg Bertoni to CEO of QVC Italy, commencing 1st January 2014. Bertoni will succeed Steve Hofmann who has been holding the dual roles of CEO of QVC Italy and CEO of Europe since May 2012. This position will leverage Bertoni’s experience and leadership in the Italian market and allow Hofmann to focus on other European countries and market development opportunities.
“QVC Italy is rapidly moving beyond start-up phase with consistently high revenue growth, customer loyalty and repeat purchase rates,” said Hofmann. “Gregg has been instrumental in driviing this strong performance and has the right experience and track record to further build the organisation and lead QVC Italy into its next stage of growth.” Bertoni first joined QVC US in 1995, transferring to QVC UK in 2002.
