Lovehoney posted sales of £58.1 million for the year to end March 2016, up by 29 per cent over the previous year. Now selling in Australia and the USA in addition to the UK the adult products retailer has leveraged its Fifty Shades licensed ranges and is set to benefit further when Fifty Shades Darker is released next year.
2016 has been quite a year for the Bath based business which received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in April. Director Neil Longhurst said “We are incredibly proud that a start-up business in the South West has risen to international prominence. Lovehoney is well positioned to continue its international expansion and we feel confident that the business will continue to thrive.”
