Redcats upgrades La Redoute site, divests US division


Redcats-owned apparel and homewares catalogue La Redoute has
rebranded its website. Digital marketing agency Twentysix was
tasked with auditing the UK site as well as La Redoute’s other
websites worldwide; based on the recommendations regarding user
experience, brand identity and navigation, La Redoute decided to
redesign the home, category and product listing pages.

In other Redcats news, US private equity fund Monomoy Capital
Partners has acquired the assets and operations of the
“missy” division of Redcats USA. The renamed Women’s
Apparel Group will mail the Chadwick’s and Metrostyle fashion
catalogues. Redcats USA originally announced its intention to
sell its missy business earlier this year after it acquired
plus-size apparel specialist United Retail Group, which included
almost 500 Avenue stores.
