Revenues rise at re-named parcels business

Companies House data reveals that Hermes Parcelnet Ltd posted turnover of £1.47bn for the 52 weeks to 26 February 2022, which was up on the £1.45bn for the previous year.

The business which rebranded from Hermes to Evri in March this year, had launched an international parcels service.

In a statement, the business said: “2021/22 was a very significant year for the company. The first full year under the ownership of Advent International saw the development of the next phase of the business’ strategy, investment in new growth markets and an expanded executive team.

“Evri benefits from a positive market position and the Covid-19 pandemic has undoubtedly accelerated the growth in eCommerce. Online shopping, while already very much a part of people’s lives, has become an even more common way for consumers to interact with retailers.”
