Revolution Beauty back in EBITDA profit as online sales rise 22 per cent

Revolution Beauty made adjusted EBITDA of £2.0m in the six months to 31 August 2026, compared with a £12.5m loss a year earlier. The loss before tax narrowed from £18.4m to £1.9m.

Revenue fell 2.0 per cent to £48.4m. The company says the prior period was inflated by clearance sales, discontinued brands and one-off licence income. Excluding those, underlying revenue grew 8.3 per cent.

Debenhams Group licence

In June, Revolution Beauty agreed a licensing partnership with Debenhams Group for fragrance and gifting under the PrettyLittleThing, Karen Millen and boohooMAN brands. The first collections launch ahead of Christmas.

The group sells direct to consumers online and through around 17,500 retail doors in the UK, US and other markets. It has its own UK manufacturing facility and employs 226 people. Co-founder Tom Allsworth is chief executive, and fellow co-founder Adam Minto leads product strategy.

Allsworth said: “Online sales are up 22 per cent, our retail partners are backing our new ranges, and we are opening up exciting new opportunities such as our licensing partnership with Debenhams Group.”
