Sainsbury’s completes website upgrade

After nine months in transition, the new Sainsbury’s website is now complete and provides the retailer with the capacity to double its annual online sales. Salmon handled the project which involved the migration of 8 million customer accounts, data on 12 million orders and four million credit cards. Customers will now benefit from improved navigation, recipe linked ingredient lists as well as personalised offers based upon past ordering.
