Robbie Feather who joined Sainsbury’s in 2011 will now take a seat on the Sainsbury’s Argos board as commercial director for Argos retail stores and eCommerce trading. One of the co-founders of Feather & Black, Feather’s background includes periods with John Lewis and ASDA. Meanwhile, James Brown, who was Sainbsury’s head of clothing and general merchandise is promoted to commercial director for Sainsbury’s non-food offer. Both will report to new CEO John Rogers.
Meanwhile, Bertrand Bodson has been promoted to the position of chief digital and marketing officer for Argos with a seat on the Sainsbury’s-Argos board and reporting to John Rogers. In his new expanded role, Bodson takes on the overall commercial and financial performance of the digital business including marketing, customer experience and the publications teams.
