According to reports, Notonthehighstreet has engaged Evercore to seek a buyer for its business. The online crafts marketplace provides a channel for around 5000 small maker-businesses and enables customers to order from a wide range of products, many of which can be customised. Like many other online operations, its sales have soared during the pandemic and has kept many of its merchants going, particularly during lockdown.
It is being suggested that the business which was founded in 2006 could sell for as much as £200 million.
