In a deal worth US $2.8 billion, Salesforce is acquiring cloud based eCommerce solutions provider Demandware. Demandware has been a public company since 2012 and Salesforce has commenced with a tender offer for all outstanding shares of Demandware for US $75.00 per share. The transaction is expected to close on July 31st 2016.
