Sappi is to expand its speciality and packaging paper capacity via the acquisition of Cham Paper Group Holdings AG for consideration of CHF146.5 million. The transaction includes the acquisition of CPG’s Carmignano and Condino Mills in Italy, its digital imaging business in Cham, Switzerland as well as all brands and know-how. The acquisition is expected to complete early in 2018.
