Screwfix’s thirst for growth is continuing as it opens its 800th store in June. This will be followed by 80 more stores – all equipped with air source heat pumps and powered by renewable electricity. The new stores will create some 800 new jobs around the UK and Ireland.
John Mewett, CEO, Screwfix said: “We know how busy tradespeople are and how important it is to be able to find a Screwfix store close to site. In opening more stores across the UK and Ireland, we’re making Screwfix even more accessible to tradespeople, ensuring they can get their job done quickly, affordably and right first time.”
