Screwfix has launched a recruitment drive to find hundreds of full time employees for its new distribution centre sites at Prologis Park in Stafford and at Fradley Park near Lichfield. The business which works in partnership with Wincanton comes on the back of an online sales rise of 146 per cent.
Rachel Gilbey, managing director of general merchandise at Wincanton, said: “Many have faced uncertain times over the past few months, but our customer Screwfix has enjoyed a period of continued growth.”
Screwfix has opened more than 50 new stores across the UK and the Republic of Ireland in recent months.
