Home furnishings retailer ScS achieved gross sales of £352.3 million for the year to July 28th, up by £2.8 million and revenue up by 4.3 million to £337.3 million. Online sales had performed particularly well with an increase of 22.6 per cent to reach £13.8 million. This the business said had more than offset the downturn in sales from its House of Fraser concessions.
CEO David Knight said: “We will continue to focus on our value offering and we believe the group’s increasing resilience and strong cash flow dynamics will enable us to manage the continued economic uncertainty and take advantage of opportunities as they arise, allowing us to continue to deliver value for our shareholders.”
