Shein attracts further legal action from brand owners

Airwear International which owns Dr Martens is the latest in a number of brands to sue Shein for infringement of copyright. In the case of Dr Martens, Shein has been marketing ‘Marin Boots’, using photographs of genuine Dr Martens products for what Airwear International describes as fake copy footwear. Shein has denied the claims, but many other fashion brands large and small are understood to be affected by the same seemingly blatant actions by employees of the Chinese fast-fashion giant which has become the most downloaded retail app in the USA as well as in other major markets.
