Family footwear retailer ShoeZone which has 554 stores across the UK and Ireland, and employs over 4,000 staff, has revealed that it intends to float on the London Stock Exchange. The business which sells some 20 million pairs of shoes a year has named DFS CEO Ian Filby as its non-executive chairman in preparation for the listing process. Last year ShoeZone generated a
£9.3 million profit.
