Shop Direct, the UK’s second largest pureplay online retailer, is continuing its focus
on its two power brands, Very.co.uk and Littlewoods.com, with the announcement
that isme.com will become part of Very.co.uk from the end of this month.
The brand consolidation follows on from the earlier successful migration of
Woolworths.com into Very.co.uk in June and K&Co.com into Littlewoods.com in July
of this year.
The earlier migrations have exceeded expectations in terms of both the number of
customers shopping and amount of sales and it is anticipated that this third migration
will also be a smooth one.
Shop Direct’s CEO, Alex Baldock, said: “We’re now powered by two engines,
Very.co.uk and Littlewoods.com. Freeing up investment tied up in our past means
we can turbocharge these two power brands and accelerate towards our future as a
world-class digital retailer.”
