Fancy dress costumes provider Smiffys has signed a contract with Clipper Logistics for which the service provider will manage inbound stock management, storage, fulfilment and returns throughout Europe. Smiffys, which has a network of 5000 stockists globally, wanted to establish a comprehensive logistics network across Europe and, following a trial run by Clipper in Kempen, Germany, has placed all of its European requirements with the service provider.
Ross Johnson, head of operations at Smiffys said, “We have been working collaboratively with Clipper to meet the needs of our growing customer base in Europe. By holding stock locally, this project will enable us to improve delivery times and stock availability. We are delighted to add this facility to our operations in Sydney and Dallas as well as our existing UK footprint.”
