Sports Direct has appointed Richard Bottomley as a non-executive director. Bottomley has over 25 years experience working with listed companies gained during his tenure as a senior partner with KPMG. He will join the board on 1st October, also chairing the audit committee and as a member of the nomination committee.
David Daly, Sports Direct chairman commented: “I would like to welcome Richard to the board, and look forward to working with him.” Daly will step down as member of the audit committee.
