Sunline on the block

Direct mail production business Sunline has filed its notice of intent to appoint an administrator due to a downturn in business. The firm’s holding company CEPS which holds 80 per cent of the equity in Sunline, has appointed Moorfields Advisory to support the Sunline board in its search for a buyer.

Sunline had traditionally majored in polywrapping catalogues but in recent years had switched its focus to paper after forecasting a reduction in demand for polythene. It generated sales of £6.7 million last year which represented a decrease of close to 16 per cent year on year and employs 122 staff.
