Superdry founder in talks with US investor

Sky News has reported that Superdry founder Julian Dunkerton is holding discussions with US investment firm Davidson Kempner (DK) as he seeks funding to take his business private.  DK is one a number of firms Dunkerton has been holding discussions with as he seeks to return stability to the business in a trimmed back form.

Dunkerton owns slightly shy of 30 per cent of the shares in Superdry and is looking to build his shareholding so that he holds the majority stake.
