After a fairly fraught 2012, smiles have returned at SuperGroup
which saw its online sales grow by 18.7 per cent in 2013 over the same first
half period in 2012. Revenue was £192.1 million for the 26 weeks to October 27,
21.4 per cent up on last year. Online now represents some 11 per cent of all
group sales and the strongest growth of all came from overseas which overtook
UK online sales for the first time. The business sells via its wholesale/franchised
stores arm in 41 countries and also operates 16 international websites. A
virtual fitting room as well as click and collect services and more flexible
next day delivery services were introduced during the period.
