Sweaty Betty which operates from 60 stores in the UK and USA, as well as selling online, has posted its results for the year to 25th December 2016. During the year the business grew its sales by 16.3 per cent, with pre-tax profits up from £272,617 to £509,145. The brand which launched in 1998 pioneered the athleisure trend which many others have emulated.
Simon Hill-Norton who co-founded the business with his wife Tamara said “The UK has been a tough retail market in 2017, but we have benefited from the increasing popularity of healthy living.”
