Rhenus has taken the long term contract for Swoon’s two man delivery service requirement and will accommodate a range of delivery schedules, including the consolidation of orders from multiple suppliers, for the online furniture retailer. The Rhenus Group is active across the Europe and came into the UK market two years ago having acquired PSL. It operates from 660 locations.
The new UK delivery service was trialled by Swoon for three months and has helped the retailer to reduce its delivery failure rate by more than 50 per cent.
“Our experience with Rhenus has been a breath of fresh air, from the smooth and professional onboarding process, all the way through to the NPS feedback from our customers. This is the reason we have signed a long-term contract with them to be our sole carrier partner for all our two man home deliveries,” said Swoon co-founder Debbie Williamson.
