Tesco is set to close its F&F site and will instead move the content into its main Tesco Direct site. This will, says the retailer make online shipping easier for its customers who will be able to combine orders for clothing with (non food) general merchandise. Tesco is focused on reducing costs and improving its performance as part of CEO Dave Lewis’ turnaround plan but market reaction to this latest move has been mixed with some commentators finding the decision rather odd.
