The Shoe Studio takes brands online


High street fashion footwear retailer, The Shoe Studio, has
announced that four of its brands, Bertie, Nine West, Pied a
Terre and Principles Footwear will start trading online this
Spring. Fresca will be designing the site as well as configuring
the platform and integrating with The Shoe Studio’s business
systems.

Whilst The Shoe Studio will transact as a single merchant, the
Fresca Commerce platform will provide a very different look and
feel for each of the brands to help articulate the different
brand propositions. Customers will be able to shop by brand, or
shop across brands by category. The site will also provide a
sophisticated in-site search and guided navigation which will
enable customers to filter products by heel height, size
availability and colour, as well as other attributes.

The online platform will be tightly integrated with The Shoe
Studio’s buying and merchandising system, and logistics and
fulfilment partner, DTS. This will deliver a “seamless
customer buying experience and facilitate management of the
online catalogue and help provide quality customer service”
said a statement by Fresca.
