TM Lewin has been placed in administration enabling the closure of all of its stores and the shedding of 600 staff. The assets of the business have been bought back by Torque Brands. Some 650 staff had been furloughed since lockdown.
TM Lewin will continue to trade as an online brand by Torque which is engaged in acquiring the assets of other distressed retail businesses.
