The Original Factory Shop (TOFS) has promoted its chief merchandising officer Phil Briggs to the role of managing director. He replaces Emma Fox. This move coincides with the appointment of non-executive director Matt Williams to the role of executive chairman. Alistair McGeorge has stepped down from the role of chairman after four years.
“I am excited to be taking on the role of executive chairman at such a pivotal time in the business strategy. Having formerly been on the board as a non-executive director, I believe the business is well placed to cement a unique position in the value retail sector and hs strong growth potential,” commented Matt Williams.
