Toolstation has kickstarted the construction of a new distribution centre at Prologis Park, in Northants to support its significant ongoing growth plans. This will create up to 250 jobs and is set for completion in the fourth quarter of 2022. It will support trade counter operating branches as well as online customers.
James Mackenzie, managing director, Toolstation, said; “The opening of this new warehousing facility will support our growth plans and enable Toolstation to continue to add to our 500-strong branch network and to help us meet the needs of our customers – both digital and in branch – more effectively.”
The new site complements rather than replaces Toolstation’s existing DC network.
