Word is that Torque Brands which owns TM Lewin has entered the bidding process for Jaeger. Beleaguered Jaeger owner Edinburgh Woollen Mill is looking to shed some of its saleable brands prior to a threatened administration process which would see it retain control of Peacocks and Bonmarche whilst ridding itself of unprofitable stores. Led by Philip Day, the group has spent much of the last five years buying up faltering apparel brands which it had planned to revive.
