Toys R Us UK which is operated under licence by Toys R Us Australia and New Zealand is staffing up in readiness for an online relaunch later this year. The business has taken on a number of the former employees of the UK business including Mike Coogan, eCommerce and marketing director and buying director Diane Lee. It has also confirmed a number of other appointments to its buying team.
Louis Mittoni, Toys R Us Australia CEO commented: “I’m very excited to welcome over 100 years of retailing experience in our new team who will lead the relaunch of our iconic brand into the UK market in the next few months. We have an amazing toy and baby buying team which I believe is the best in the country.”
