Trustpilot has launched dedicated Product Review Pages alongside tools to track how often brands appear in AI-generated answers.
The pages bring ratings, reviews and product details together at SKU or parent-product level, with variants able to contribute to a single score.
Trustpilot said a beta involving 418 businesses in May and June found average citation rates rose 1,548 per cent in the first week. Separate analysis published by the company associated product reviews with a 12-percentage-point increase in citation visibility compared with a business profile page alone.
The release also includes enhanced location-review tools and AI Search Market Insights, which compares a brand’s Trustpilot citation visibility with competitors across ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity.
The findings are company-reported and do not establish that higher citation visibility produces more sales. However, the launch reflects a shift from brand-level reputation towards product- and location-specific evidence that answer engines can use when shoppers compare options.
