Hot on the tail of Amazon’s announcement that it will begin to pay corporation tax on British sales in the UK, and mirror this in other European countries, comes the news that its UK managing director Christopher North has resigned from the Board but is expected to continue in his leadership role. Rob McWilliam, finance director, has also resigned from the Board.
