Watch a video clip from Secrets of Your Missing Mail,
broadcast on Channel 4 last night, showing undercover reporting from UK Mail,
one of the country’s largest courier firms. In response, a UK Mail statement
said, “We take any evidence of poor service very seriously. The footage does
appear to show inadequate supervision at one of our sites and we have already launched an internal investigation.”
However, it further stated that it does not believe the footage from this one
location “is representative of our service”. The programme also showed footage
of an undercover reporter working as a TNT Post employee. Chief executive Nick
Wells posted his own video on the issues raised in the programme.
