Ultimate Products has revealed an uplift of 17.9 per cent in its revenues which reached £136.4m for the year to July 31st. International revenues were up by 4.4 per cent and its online sales generated £20.6 million.
During the year the business had completed its £34m acquisition of Salter Brands from FKA (July 15th) and it says that Salter is now fully integrated and is expected to deliver significant earnings during the current year. It has also collaborated with Heston Blumenthal to develop a range of high precision scales, timers and thermometers which will be marketed under the Salter brand. It acquired German kitchen electricals brand PETRA which will be relaunched and refreshed for the german market, followed by launches into other countries.
