Mere months after taking control of The Very Group (TVG) for £1, Carlyle – a US private equity house – is looking to sell it on. Carlyle was a significant creditor of TVG, which has continued to trade on in its ownership, drawing on external financial support.
Carlyle is now, according to filings at Companies House and assorted reports, preparing to sell TVG for around £2bn via an M&A process.
