The Very Group has reported record adjusted earnings after higher-margin retail sales, finance income and tighter cost control offset broadly flat group revenue.
Adjusted EBITDA before securitisation interest increased by 3.4 per cent to £317.5m in the 52 weeks to 27 June 2026. Its margin rose from 14.7 per cent to 15.2 per cent.
Group revenue remained broadly stable at £2.09bn, while revenue from the Very UK brand increased by 1.3 per cent to £1.86bn. Very Finance revenue rose by 7.1 per cent to £464.5m.
The online and catalogue retailer reduced group debt by £150m, bringing net leverage down from 3.62 times adjusted EBITDA to 2.80 times. Adjusted free cash inflow was £141.1m.
Home sales grew by 6.4 per cent, including a 21.5 per cent increase in home accessories. Sports sales rose by 9.7 per cent, but the broader Fashion and Sports division declined by 4.6 per cent.
Very added more than 80 brands during the year and expanded delivery and returns through a partnership with InPost. By the year end, more than 95 per cent of customer traffic had moved to its new cloud-based Skyscape platform, with the migration completed shortly afterwards.
