Online bathroom retailer Victoria Plum posted a £201k pre-tax profit for the year to 28 Feb 2018, as compared to the £5.75m loss from the prior year. It had increased its sales to £63m from £57.6m and attributes the turnaround to investment in its customer offering, infrastructure and people. Meanwhile TPG, which acquired Victoria Plum in 2014, is understood to have been in talks with the US owners of Bathstore with a view to TPG exiting the business and Bathstore and Victoria Plum merging operations. (It has not been able to be confirmed if the talks have resulted in an agreement).
