Victorian Plumbing posts weaker half

Victorian Plumbing Group has reported a five per cent fall in its revenues for the six months to 31st March 2022, from £140.7m for the same period last year to £133.9m. Operating profits also fell from £14.6m to £2.9m with gross profit margin down from 49 per cent to 44 per cent.

Our market-leading proposition and our innovative and proactive approach to marketing have enabled us to continue growing our market share, even against a challenging market backdrop.

“Following a nine-month period during which the economy was opening up after Covid-19 restrictions with discretionary spending more focused on leisure activities, our relentless focus on investing in quality and innovation has resulted in revenue growing 39 per cent on a two-year basis.”
