Waitrose has launched a new wine website,
waitrosecellar.com, to help grow its online wine sales. Customers will be able
to view over 1,200 wines on the site and custom build their own case by
selecting six bottles from the range. The service, which replaces Waitrose Wine
Direct, will include new additions such as Fine & Rare range, a ratings
system where customers can rate and review previous purchases and in depth
content to help online shoppers navigate the range. Food matching suggestions, regional guides
and on call cellar specialists will also enhance the site.
