Walstead which acquired the assets of York Mailing and Pindar from administrators has also acquired the outstanding assets of YM Chantry. It now plans to reopen York Mailing on a small scale utilising its presses. Two new companies have been formed – Walstead York and Walstead Scarborough with two former YM Group directors contracted to restart operations. Understandably much of the work previously handled by YM Group has already been placed elsewhere but Walstead is hopeful that some may return.
