Luxury furniture retailer Warren Evans is up for sale as it prepares to counter millions in losses. Restructuring specialist Duff & Phelps is supporting the sale process and seeking a buyer of Warren Evans 14 UK showrooms.
The furniture sector has been hit by a downturn on consumer spending which has seen the demise of Multiyork, the sale of Feather & Black, as well as that of OKA Direct.
Warren Evans had achieved sales of £27.3 million which generated profits of £837,500 last year but is forecasting a £2 million loss in the current year.
