Weird Fish profit jumps as online passes £26m

Weird Fish grew turnover 23.6 per cent to £52.7 million in the year ended 28 December 2025, with operating profit up from £4.2 million to £6.5 million.

Profit before tax rose from £4.3 million to £6.5 million, and net profit increased from £3.4 million to £4.9 million. EBITDA before exceptional items reached £8 million, up 48.2 per cent. Gross margin widened by four percentage points to 67.1 per cent.

eCommerce remained the biggest channel at £26.3 million, up 21.9 per cent and equal to half of turnover. Physical retail sales grew 23.4 per cent to £12.9 million. Concessions grew fastest, up 58.1 per cent to £7.1 million. Wholesale rose 4.4 per cent to £6.3 million and international sales climbed 14.8 per cent to £1.6 million. UK sales were £51.1 million.

The retailer opened 11 stores and 19 concessions during the year.
