Whistl Doordrop Media, market leaders in audience targeting and leaflet services, has announced that SME clients have processed 4 million items through Leafletdrop, their on-line leaflet advertising tool, since its launch in January 2018.
Leafletdrop enables SME organisations to target over 27 million UK households with geographic based leaflet marketing campaigns from their desktop to help boost response rates, drive sales and get Leaflets into the homes and hands of new customers.
In the past year, organisations from a variety of sectors have used the service to generate calls, clicks and footfall to achieve their local marketing goals; including membership drives, charity fundraising and brand building of local businesses.
Hoar Cross Hall in Burton on Trent used Leafletdrop to generate 160 new memberships for their luxury spa report. The Membership Manager commenting: “Leafletdrop has saved us lots of time, money and effort. The tool is easy to use, and we enjoy being able to have the control to decide the audience and where we drop to.”
Leafletdrop was adopted by digital agency WebBox who introduced the service to one of its clients to drive customer acquisition in a combined digital and physical print campaign. The Digital Marketing Manager commented: “We save time and money by creating our own campaigns online and leave everything else to the Leafletdrop team meaning we have more time to focus on our clients”
Mark Davies, Managing Director of Whistl Doordrop Media, said:
“Leafletdrop is already helping businesses spread their message effortlessly and I’m delighted that we have processed 4 million items in our first year. We have proven that giving businesses control of localised leaflet campaigns, backed by the expertise of Whistl, brings benefits to the bottom line.”
Simple to use, once the target households have been identified, businesses can schedule distribution, organise print and pay online on a single platform for a single fee – reducing the need to deal with a multitude of suppliers.
Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home Charity issued 100,000 mailings through the service as part of its 2018 Christmas appeal generating £1000s of donations for the charity through a cold mailing. The Account Executive commenting: “I relied on Whistl to keep me updated on how the process was going, they kept everything on time and delivered over 100,000 mailings for us.”
Users of the service have two distribution options. Print-ready artwork can be uploaded to the platform, a leaflet format chosen and the print and distribution sorted by Whistl. Or, Whistl can just arrange distribution of leaflets to target selected households.
