UK fashion label Whistles has opened a shop within
Bloomingdale’s Manhattan store on 59th Street. This move is the result of a concerted push to
partner with high end department stores overseas which includes relationships
with Lane Crawford for mainland China, Printemps in Paris and Karstadt in
Hamburg. Other European fashion
retailers targeting the USA include H&M’s COS and Other Stories facias which will open in New York later this
year.
